Listening Session on Form N-648, Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited interested stakeholders to participate in a stakeholder engagement on Wednesday, February 10, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. (Eastern) titled “Form N-648, Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions Listening Session.” During this engagement, USCIS provided information on the purpose of the form, who is authorized to complete the form, where to find additional information in the USCIS Policy Manual, the role of medical professionals in completing the form, and the role of the officer when reviewing the form at the interview. It was also noted that a training presentation is available for medical professionals on the USCIS website. Following the overview, stakeholders were invited to provide feedback. Stakeholders can submit additional feedback to USCIS at public.engagement@uscis.dhs.gov.
