Questions about Form I-9? We're here to help. You can find answers to many common questions right here and we're always just a phone call or email away if you need us. Form I-9 Support is available to answer your questions about Form I-9 and employment authorization.

Form I-9 Contact Center

We are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, except when the federal government is closed. For people with hearing and speech impairment, TTY phone is available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.

USCIS Contact Center

The USCIS Contact Center gives users throughout the country another way to get consistent, accurate information and assistance on immigration Services and Benefits.

For the general public with immigration/naturalization questions and to request expedited processing of an Employment Authorization Document (I-766), you can use our many online tools including our virtual assistant, Emma. If you are not able to find the information you need online, you can reach out to the USCIS Contact Center.

Immigrant and Employee Rights Section (IER)

The IER is available to answer your questions about unfair immigration-related employment practices and discrimination against workers on the basis of a worker’s citizenship or immigration status, or based on the worker’s national origin, including discrimination in the Form I-9 process. IER’s website provides information on how to prevent discrimination and file a complaint against an employer and answers to frequently asked questions.

IER accepts telephone calls and emails in any language, and has interpreters and translators available to assist.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is available to answer your questions about the ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) Program. IMAGE helps employers to develop a more secure and stable workforce through education and training. The IMAGE website provides information to employers on the benefits of joining the program and how to join.
